Note this website was registered in December 2024  , proving that I was preparing for an election before most.

Sat 20 sept2025 . Having spent months preparing my campaign, I decided before launching  to wait patiently for Sinn Féin to announce what it was going to do.  Sadly like the councils so far, they have failed to give us another choice, (either one of their own members or someone , like I from outside the party) but instead are supporting someone already nominated.

As there is still time to give the people more choice (they deserve) I now call on Sinn Féin  to nominate me a homeless man. As I said in why I am going forward as a candidate I mentioned that homeless covers more than people like I . It includes people who wish to buy their own home but cannot get a mortgage. Its also includes some who had to emigrate due to property prices and high rents.They are homeless from a country many would like to ramain in as their“home”.

 For my election campaign I will be downsizing from a 25yr old home made campervan with 6mm insulation in parts but not all  to a very symbolic structure which is in the shape of a cross.  For the younger people one side at least will be a character with legs , I have developed to promote my website “Watching Over Our World” , WooW  ,  pronounced “Who.” Go to woow.ie to see more but bear in mind its 100% the work of one man and WooW needs employees.  The structure extends uo to 4.35m in height so its impressive.It reduces to 3m for transport.

You can see my “New Home ” which has a footprint of 0.96m2 in the gallery page. This will also be my campaign head quarters and will draw much attention as it travels the country. I need some help to paint and finish the insdide and we will be ready to go on the road from around 1st October , mabey a bit earlier with your help.

I am not a Sinn Fein member but ask them first due to the fact that they failed to give the people a choice .

The request also goes out to other parties and groups, who equaly  have a responsibility to ensure that we have a good selection of candidates.

I think we should have seven but thats unlikely now.

As said in the home page , I will be running anyway , hopefully on the ballot paper but if not off the ballot paper I will be protesting nationally with my pod. Protesting that many with a responsibility to give us the voters a choice failed to do so .Without Sean O’Leary in his New home on the ballot paper it will be a very boring few weeks.

With me on the ballot we will  get a lot of engagement from Young voiters and I believe we can get a record turnout.

Off the ballot paper will be bad for the democratic process.and I suspect a record low turnout.

Sunday 21/sept 2025. 

Speaking to many people last night I found that like I many were disappointed that we don’t have a larger number of candidates. Like I they felt seven/eight  would be a good number. Doesn’t look like it now. Some even said that while they always voted they may now not

I except it was a small sample but what was interseting was the anger. 

Returning to my request to Sinn Fein . Others have given nominations to people whom they won’t vote for . One being Mr Michael Healy Rea . Some honourable  councillors  did the same but sadly so many appeared to be obstructive . Knowing this would be the case is why I did not go that route 

Some other independent are talking about doing the same, nominating someone they wont vote for They will rescue some of the damage done to the democratic process  . I call it putting a small  plaser on a big  wound .  We need more substancial leadership from all of the several  main parties if we are to do more than put a plaster on it.

I now call on the media to do its part by at least immediately opening up discussion on this serious matter.
